demolished and the walls are prepared
to receive the new lightweight roof in
Plastbau.

ReplyDeleteAre you going to put a roof deck or just a plain roof top? I suggest that you build a roof deck, if it's not too late. A roof deck is a beautiful place to relax, unwind, and have parties in, if you like to throw parties. I think roof decks need less maintenance than a normal roof does because they usually leak after a few years. Bryon Sedillo

The roof was a terrace before I demolished it and when the cement has dried on the new roof we'll put all the original flagstones back again and reform the terrace as it was before. I plan to have a kitchen on the terrace for dinner parties during the long Salento summers. Can't wait!
DeleteRoofs are that part of the house which bears the maximum brunt from unfriendly weather conditions. Roof renovation may mean repairing your current roof to be as good as new, or it may be that your roof needs an entirely new surface of shingles or tar.

I guess the project's goal was to make the roofing structure better and stronger. That’s great as it will surely protect the other parts of the house, particularly the walls and the ceiling. It’s important that you have a resilient roof terrace, especially if you want to make it as a party venue.
