Happy 5th birthday Lotus Selector Jeans
First worn in March 2010 and washed (inside out)
9 times in the past five years.
I cut the pattern for these selvedge jeans in 2009.
We made them in Candiani sioux red selvedge denim.
They've aged beautifully although I did a bit of
patching under the crotch and on the pocket linings.

Denham
I visited the Denham Store/Design-house in Amsterdam
shortly after it opened in 2009. I was knocked out by
the style and general feel of the place. It's a must see
if you're ever in Amsterdam.

Hartford Denim Company
'The 'Hartford Denim Company' of Hartford, CT. U.S.A. hand craft jeans out of denim, from the most renowned American manufacturer 'Cone Mills'. One pair of jeans takes between ten and twenty hours to create because of the care and personalization put into their work. They use vintage machines which they find on Craigslist to sew the many different coloured threads they may use on one garment. I admire their attention to detail and the the accessories they create for the jeans. Their jeans are then guarantee for life, which means that as long as they are still in business they'll patch or repair your Hartford Denims for you.
