I can't stop stairing

Another batch of pictures with stairs

The Day Bed

Here the artist Celia Lyttelton is recumbent on her day bed
in her home on the Yorkshire Moors. The built in bookshelf
is the coolest detail.

Liza Bruce's London home 1992

In 1992 Liza Bruce's London home looked like this. I still find these images
contemporary and soulful 20 years later.
(I saw pictures of her Moroccan home and found it too gaudy for my
taste, as it's a cacophony of colour and patterns).

Bathroom in Connecticut

The airiness and space of this bathroom with its three sash windows (one is not
visible in this photo), is luxurious. The bath alcove has ivy falling from a hanging pot
and the seating alcoves is just so inviting.

Stripped down to true minimalism

'Baring All' was the title of the article that The World of Interiors magazine published
about Lavaufranche a French Castle where Bénédicte and Jean-Jacques Wattel live with
the bare minimum. I love the raw austerity they have created.
