How I would love to be sitting by a cosy fire at the moment...
With sub-zero temperatures here in Italy at the
moment, I long for a blazing fire to sit in front of
toasting my toes whilst snuggled in a soft ecru
linen armchair with a good book.

Petula Clark - Downtown
The first time I heard this song being played on the radio was in 1965
I was playing in a tent I'd built using a chair, a clothes-horse and a
candlewick bedspread in our living room. It's a song I still find myself
singing in the shower to this day.
