Labour and Wait in London's East End

Walking past this corner shop in Shoreditch looking
in through the windows as I went by, curiosity pulled
me back and had me walk into the store.
There is something so pure about the place.
I browsed the clearly displayed goods, picking
up things that I hadn't seen for, perhaps, decades.
It was as though I'd stepped through a time portal.
So much of what I looked at in this curiosity shop of
household goods and clothes took me back to my youth.
A very stylish, clean and comforting experience.

Two raw armchairs

These two armchairs, with their calico seats,  and their
raw hessian backs and armrests, were displayed at
White Milano. Don't they almost seem to have faces?

I love Wikipedia

I use Wikipedia almost everyday. It is a
modern wonder, a multilingual encyclopedia
that is updated (usually accurately) constantly.
My thanks to Jimmy Welsh for starting it.

Bel été au Salento - Maisons Coté Sud 8/9 2011

This caseddhu in Salento has been transformed
into the most beautiful summer home for Luca
& Silvia Zanaroli. And I need to stop dreaming
and do the same for myself

Denham

I visited the Denham Store/Design-house in Amsterdam
shortly after it opened in 2009. I was knocked out by
the style and general feel of the place. It's a must see
if you're ever in Amsterdam.

Follow this link to a video about the Denham brand.

Mason Jung

I really enjoyed this video and what Mason
had to say.  I admire him.
